We’re Paige and Mason. The Bend Banner is our way of keeping tabs on this wild, beautiful place we call home. To the mornings that start with coffee and mountain air, the trails that somehow always lead to a brewery, and the kind of small-town stories that remind you why you chose to live here in the first place.
Bend’s Trivia Scene

And by scene, I mean there is a trivia night almost every night of the week, which feels intentional.
Trivia in Bend isn’t a novelty anymore. It’s routine. A midweek anchor. A reason to leave the house when it’s cold, dark, and you’re already in sweatpants. It’s where friendships are tested, arguments are made, and someone always insists they know the answer because they “saw a documentary once.”
Here’s a breakdown of Trivia by day. I’m sure we’ve missed some, but these are the ones we know about:
Tuesday Nights
The Lot
This is one of Bend’s most dependable trivia nights. People arrive early, claim picnic tables like real estate, order something fried, and lock in. The questions are accessible, the crowd is loyal, and there is always one team that treats this like a playoff game.
Boneyard
Hosted by Quiz Head Games, this one stands out for a simple reason: the host writes every question himself. No recycled trivia, no generic templates. The questions feel intentional, a little clever, and just hard enough to spark debate at the table. The room gets loud, the beer is serious, and the crowd shows up ready to play. If you like trivia that feels handcrafted, this is the Tuesday move.
Worthy Brewing
Hosted in the Hop Mahal, this is where Skeptoid trivia lives. Expect science, skepticism, and questions that go a little deeper than pop culture. If your team has an engineer, this is their Super Bowl.
Wednesday Nights
Prost! Bend
Useless Knowledge Bowl runs here, and it shows. This trivia is fast, competitive, and packed with obscure facts you did not know your brain was still storing. The room stays focused. People care. It’s a good night to bring your sharpest friends.
JC’s Bar & Grill
This one leans chaotic in a way that works. Trivia mixed with wings, loud tables, and sometimes random physical challenges. Not refined, not quiet, but always entertaining. Best paired with low expectations and high tolerance for noise
Ballers & Brews
Quiz Head Games hosts Wednesday night trivia here, and it’s fun and new. The questions are well written, the pace stays tight, and the room has just enough chaos.
Thursday Nights
Silver Moon Brewing
A Bend staple. This trivia night has been running long enough that some teams feel generational. The vibe is lively, the questions are solid, and it’s consistently one of the fuller rooms in town. If you’re new to trivia in Bend, start here.
Bridge 99 Brewery
Trivia by the river, good beer, and a more relaxed pace. This one feels less about winning and more about hanging out somewhere pleasant while answering questions. Ideal for teams who want trivia to be part of the night, not the entire mission.
Sunday Nights
On Tap Bend
Early evening trivia with a mellow crowd. It’s low-pressure, neighborly, and a good way to do something social without committing to a late night. Perfect if Monday is already looming.
River’s Place
Daytime trivia with a family-friendly feel. Food trucks, daylight, and a crowd that looks like they planned to be home early. It feels very Bend, in the best way.
The Daily Immune Ritual I Trust All Winter Long
Winter is when I’m most intentional about supporting my immune system, and Pique’s Daily Immune has become one of my non-negotiables. It’s the kind of daily ritual that feels supportive, not overwhelming and one I actually look forward to.
What sets Daily Immune apart is its liposomal vitamin C, which helps deliver nutrients more effectively to your bloodstream and immune cells, where they can truly do their job. I notice the difference in how steady and resilient I feel, especially during colder months when my body needs extra support. The addition of elderberry gives it that extra layer of seasonal immune defense I trust.
Daily Immune supports my everyday immunity, collagen production, skin resilience, and antioxidant protection all in one simple step. I love that it fits seamlessly into my routine and tastes bright and refreshing.
Winter wellness doesn’t need to be extreme to be effective. For me, Daily Immune is an easy, consistent way to feel supported, strong, and cared for all season long
Wildfire Pizza
Bend has no shortage of pizza. This one feels different from the jump. Not louder. Not trendier. Just more… intentional.
You taste it first in the dough. That’s the tell. Long-fermented, properly rested, with that quiet tang that only shows up when someone’s been patient. The crust bubbles where it should, chars where it’s allowed to, and folds without collapsing into itself. It tastes like bread. Real bread. Which sounds obvious until you realize how rare that actually is.
Wildfire doesn’t hide behind toppings. It doesn’t need to. The ingredients are doing real work here. High-quality cheese that melts instead of sweating. Sauce that tastes like tomatoes, not sugar. Oils, meats, and produce that feel chosen, not sourced out of habit. Nothing is piled on for shock value. Nothing’s there just to say it’s there.
It’s a labor-of-love kind of setup. You can feel it in the pacing, the way each pie comes out like it mattered whether it was good or not. This isn’t pizza made to scale fast. It’s pizza made to be right.
And that’s kind of the whole thing.
Wildfire fits into Bend in the best way. A little understated. Quietly confident. Built by someone who clearly obsessed over the fundamentals before ever opening a window and firing up an oven. It’s not trying to be Portland pizza or New York pizza or some Instagram fantasy version of Naples.
It’s just really good pizza, made with care, by someone who respects the craft.
Which, honestly, is all most of us are asking for.
Go hungry. Eat the crust. Pay attention to the dough.
You’ll get it.
And if you’re wondering where it is, you’ll find Wildfire located in the backyard of Goodlife Brewing.

No big media machine, no out-of-town editor guessing what Bend cares about. Just a weekly letter built from real conversations, real places, and real curiosity.
If you choose to support it, every bit helps me bring you more of the good stuff. The stories, the characters, the weird corners of this town that deserve a spotlight.
